From CAMHS to CBT, I understand the terminology and political context of mental health issues having written for YoungMinds Magazine for three years.
I wrote news and features for YoungMinds Magazine which is read by mental health professionals. I interviewed psychiatrists, CAMHS managers and professionals for news stories in the magazine.
For features, I interviewed the children’s commissioner for England on his priorities for children and young people’s mental health, the chief nursing officer and MP Barry Sheerman who led the Labour government’s scrutiny of the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
