IET Connect: Case studies
I specialise in interviewing the people charities support and writing up their stories into compelling case studies.
As a qualified counsellor, I am empathic, sensitive and know how to build effective relationships. I also have lots of experience of working with vulnerable people to produce powerful charity communications.
This experience was what the engineers’ benevolent fund, IET Connect, were looking for when they needed help developing personal stories for their website.
Working with my colleague Sarah Myers, I interviewed beneficiaries who’d experienced a range of issues, from health problems to bereavement, which led to financial difficulty.
The stories illustrate the life-changing support IET Connect delivered, how the organisation could benefit others in similar situations, and the need for more donations and supporters.
